Truck Dealership Job - Shop Foreman for Leasing Company


Palmer Leasing Group Paclease of Fort Wayne  is currently seeking a Shop Foreman.  The qualified candidate will have the ability to manage technicians and will be responsible for the management of a  lease and rental  fleet of tractors and trailers.

Position responsibility highlights include:

·         Hiring, training, and development of mechanical staff

·         Maintain efficient productivity levels

·         Monitoring and assigning service work

·         Parts inventory management

·         Scheduling and preparation of PM cycles

·         General maintenance of tractors and trailers

·         Enforce & practice all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment

·         Follow all D.O.T. and OSHA safety standards

·         Ensure out of service equipment numbers do not exceed set limits

Ideal candidates should apply if you have:

·         2-3 years of management experience or equivalent

·         Strong technical and communication skills

·         Computer proficiency

·         Ability to multi-task

·         Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere

·         Experience and understanding of working within a budget

·         Strong knowledge of Class A & B truck & trailer repair

·         Possess their own tools

·         Class A CDL
